Ferrari pops the top on the Laferrari.
Ferrari has finally released the first official images of the open-top version of the LaFerrari, a new limited-edition model from the Italian automaker.
The official name of the new limited-edition open-top LaFerrari will make its public debut at the Paris Motor Show in October although more in-depth technical details of special series vehicle won't be revealed until Paris.
Ferrari says it's also modified the chassis and aerodynamics to match the torsional rigidity and drag coefficient of the coupe with the top off and we do know that the car will be available with a carbon-fiber hardtop and removable soft top.
As expected, it will be powered by the same hybrid powertrain featuring a V12 and an electric motor as used in the original LaFerrari ( limited to 499 clients) with a 6.3-liter to deliver 950 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque.
However, Ferrari will reveal production numbers for the open-top LaFerrari in Paris but sadly examples have already been sold out “after a special preview to clients”.
